Bingo, when the number I- 22 is called, why do people ring bells?
A-Best: Well 22=Ducks came from poker where a pair of 2's are known as ducks. I asked my grandma why they ring bells and she said it's easier then quacking. She said it just makes bingo more exciting.
A: OK, my 70 year old mother-in-law says the two's look like a pair of little ducks. It isn't not supposed to be bells. They quack or use duck calls.
22 = Ducks? Maybe those old ladies can't see well!
