Is anyone familiar with interstate 83 in maryland and pennsylvania? please help?
I need a rest stop somewhere along i-83 that would be convenient for someone coming from pa and going to virginia to meet someone coming from baltimore to pa.
please help!

by rest stop i mean a landmark at which to meet someone, could be an easy to get to mcdonalds, or something like that.
A-Best: In Maryland, I would suggest the Exxon Gas Station either at Exit 33 - Parkton or Exit 27 - Mt. Carmel Rd. There was a Mobil gas station north of York - Exit 29 I believe - which was easy off and easy on.
Both Maryland interchanges are easy off and easy on without any tricky ramps, curves or hidden areas.
A: I know there is a rest stop on 83 North between Baltimore and the PA Border but if you are traveling south, you would have to get off and get back on 83 north.
A: your best bet is to check out google maps
