ebay question?
I bid $40 on this item and i got outbid and I bid $42 again and i got outbid again, so are they going to charge me $82 or just $42?
A-Best: they arent gonna charge you anything...you got outbid....
A: you can place your max bid you want to pay and ebay does the actual bidding for you
A: The price is whatever you bid plus the shiping.
A: If you got outbidded, you dont have to pay a dime unless you won the auction
A: Your highest bid is what you pay.. so $42
A: You won't be charged anything if you're outbid...but if you win the auction, you win it with your single highest bid, not cumulative sum of bids...
A: if ur outbid you dont pay anything!
A: they wont charge you anything. they will give the item to the person who outbid you.
A: If you got outbid you pay nothing.
A: $42 and whatever the shipping is that they are charging.
A: if you got outbid, wouldnt they NOT charge you anything?
A: $42
you dumbass
aless you bid $82
A: If you got outbid, you didn't win the item. You won't get billed for it at all.
A: 42, that is.... if you win the item.
Trick is to wait for the last 10 seconds and keep hitting the refresh button so you get in your bid in the last second or two.
A: if some bids to 81.50 and you remain the highest bidder at 82 yes they will. Your not obligated to pay it, but if you dont you will recieve a strike
A: Probably jus 42...but depends on how much ur max bid is!!
A: You have to pay them $300 plus the original bid price, so you owe $340
A: You won't be charged anything if you were outbid. If you get the winning bid then you will only have to pay that amount.
A: if you got outbid you didnt win the item you dont payanything, if you won the item you 42 was high bid and thats what you pay 42
A: If you win the auction, the maximum you will pay is the maximum amount you bid. Once. Plus postage.
A: You was outbid....which means you LOST. You won't get charged a thing, as you haven't bought anything.
A: so they wont charge you anything because you got outbid, silly!
A: $42 plus postage, if the auction ends with your bid highest.
A: What you did was increase your high-bid. You went from $40.00 to $42.00. eBay doesn't add the two together.
The only way you'd go up to $82.00 on the auction is if you placed your bid at $82.00.
...and you'd only pay the $82.00 if someone bid about $80.00 before the auction ended, otherwise you'd win a bit higher than the previous high bidder.
Hope this makes sense to you. The bottom line is, you bid $42.00 and sounds like you lost.
A: click on the bid history to see what the last bid was, if you bid again and are out bid again, that means the other bidder has a bid limit that you haven't passed yet. example:
item A current bid is $40
you bid $42 and are out bid. that means the other bidder could have a bid limit of $55 but you can't see that until you make a bid over $55.50. if you do get the highest bid make sure its worth the price you're paying. what is your bid limit?
A: if you won you pay $ 42.00 plus shipping if there was any
