My grandmother just gave me 4 beautiful hand painted scarves?
with paintings of her birth town, Reggio di Calabria.
I will not wear them, as they are a precious keepsake, but what else can i do with them?
A-Best: Ooh! Those must be a real treasure. I used handkerchiefs by my granma to be put into a shadowbox with some really vintage pearls and an open locket with a poem done with sepia calligraphy. Apart from that you could show these scarves to someone who is a primitive artist (for example go here for a range of artists http://www.pfattmarketplace.com/index.html ) you could look up what these people create and I'm sure you'll have some ideas from someone who might have something that will be unique and just for you and very special.
Alternatively you could just display them by framing them as you would art.
