Question:

I 85 S: Exit sign: Hwy 15 S/Hwy 501 S/Duke Univ/Chapel Hill. I need to know if this is Exit #174A or 174B?
I know construction is/was being done here. I need to write up directions for a friend and we are having some confusion about the exit number. Thanks for your help. I'm not looking for check mapquest answers. The maps there are from two different companies. The data can be right or wrong. I'm looking for someone that lives in the area and really knows the answer.

A-Best: My apologies for I am not from NC, but I kinda know how to get around. I can see where your confusion comes from. Even from MSN Virtual Earth, that looks very squirrely. If you belong to the Auto Club, they have road closure info that's pretty up to date. Check this web site: http://apps.dot.state.nc.us/tims/ Lastly, you might have your friend contact the NC State Patrol in Raleigh for the latest info on roads in that area.
