Help me read this? Class rank?
My academic update (not official transcript) has my class percentage as 82%, and I've heard that that number is different that ranking like top 12% percentile (as in, percentile is different than percentage from my understanding). I am 100 in my class, and if 100 makes me 82%, is there a mathematical way to calculate how many kids are in my class, and then figure out what my actual ranking is?

A-Best: Your class rank would be 100. You have received a 82% average from your grades so you would have around a B average depending on your school's grading system. The percentile is where your grades compare to other students in your grade. If you have 300 kids in your grade then you would be in the 33rd percentile. It you have 500 then you would be in the top 20 percentile of your class. I would assume you would know about how many people are in your grade. If not ask a guidance counselor
