What would be the right type of doctor for me. (22 female)?
I'm trying to find the right doctor for me. I'm a 22yr female. When I review the doctor's on my plan they mainly specialize in adolescent care. I don't want to be treated like a child and I want the right health-care for me. Am I suppose to go to a specialist at my age and gender? If so, what kind?

A: 22 and female. I would recommend getting a OB/GYN. In many insurance plans an OB/GYN can be considered your Primary Care Doctor.
