Why does my mother keep telling me 85% of white people are racist?
and that i shouldnt date a white woman becuase most of there families are mean ignorant and disown there kids she is not racist she strong hates interracial dating she knows i like white women

A-Best: she tells that to all the white guys pretending to be a black guy to cause trouble on the internet.  

A: Well.. I guess you can just tell her that if that's her opinion, then that's her opinion. Tell her that your just the kind of guy that is interested in 'White' Women. I'm sure she'll understand once you meet someone very nice and introduce her to your mother. Good Luck though.

A: Their her views and she strongly believes those generalizations are true (however, "a white woman's family is mean and ignorant and disown their kids" is not true). I think your mom should do a little research before she generalizes.  

A: Well if your mother hates interracial dating, it is probably to get you to stay out of an interracial relationship. While her statistics are off, (see the gallup poll) there are still families of all races who disapprove of IR dating and it can complicate familial relationships. Respect your mother, but you have to choose for yourself who to love. She is just trying to protect you from those who may not like you.

A: Most of white people are not racist. I don't know where your mom got that from, but you do need to respect her, but I kind of see where she's coming from as far as IR dating goes, I for one would not do it because I don't have the patience to put up with ignorant people.
